It all started with the pursuit of a beautiful brush. Facing a wall of generic options, co-founder Marjorie knew something was missing: a toothbrush that not only felt at home in her bathroom but was ergonomically designed for a better clean. With her background in general dentistry and her experience with retail in home decor, she approached her dear friend Kimberly, and together, they set out to reimagine this outdated necessity.


Beauty belongs in the bathroom, too.

The Dentist Behind the Brush

Ten years in practice taught Marjorie Trask Gray exactly what a toothbrush should do. A pair of tortoise eyeglasses showed her what one could be.

In 2021, she looked at the toothbrush on her bathroom counter and wondered why something she used every day felt so out of place. She went looking for a tortoise toothbrush to match her glasses. She found the look, but not the soft bristles she’d recommend to her own patients. So she made one herself.


In 2024, Marjorie and co-founder Kimberly Smith launched TRASK: dentist-designed toothbrushes that give beauty and function equal attention.

The idea is simple: when you love your brush, you’re more likely to use it consistently—and consistency is what makes a habit stick.
